Welcome to MR. David's THIRD GRADE Class!
My name is Keoni David and I am very excited to be working in my third year at St. Dominic School. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Mathematics. Although this is my third year teaching, I have worked as an extended day care supervisor and a teacher’s assistant for Cathedral Chapel School in Los Angeles for five years. I had the pleasure of working with students in grades 1st through 5th. I have had the privilege of attending Catholic schools since 1st grade. I am the oldest of six and have many relatives who are either actively teaching or have retired from teaching. Throughout my childhood, I always had two dreams. First, to become a Catholic elementary school teacher because I truly believe that a positive influence on children during this time encourages lifelong excitement for learning. I was blessed to have wonderful teachers during my school years and hope that my students will enjoy my class and continue to have the desire to pursue their dreams. My second dream is to be a professional referee for football or basketball. I presently enjoy refereeing football, basketball, and volleyball for the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks, Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), high school, and college. I am looking forward to working with all of you during this school year.
